UNKNOWN

On Friday, October 12, at 7 pm, CityVision celebrated its second year during the event UNKNOWN, a special event that took place at COME SE Gallery, a Roman architecture space devoted to creativity and innovation.

The event featured the winners of New York CityVision International Competition and the competition Awards Ceremony.

The first prize goes to the group formed by Eirini Giannakopoulou and Stefano Carera (SCEG) from Vigone (TO) – Italy, along with Hilario Isola and Matteo Norzi (Isola and Norzi) from Kent Av Brooklyn, selected among more then 600 participants divided into 151 groups from 32 different countries.

All the competition projects were judged by an exceptional jury panel composed composed by Joshua Prince-Ramus (REX Architects), Eva Franch i Gilabert (Storefront for Art & Architecture), Roland Snooks (Kokkugia), Shohei Shigematsu (OMA ny), Alessandro Orsini (Architensions) and Mitchell Joachim (Terreform One).

During the event CityVision unveiled  the new issue 7 of the of its international free press architecture Magazine, even free distributed.

It has been also possible to have a look at the site specific artwork made by SBAGLIATO for CityVision about the theme Past Shock.

Another capital moment of the event has been the seventh edition of the PECHA KUCHA NIGHT ROMA.

Venerdì 12 Ottobre 2012, alle ore 19.00, CityVision celebrerà il suo secondo anno di attività con l’evento UNKNOWN, presso la Galleria COME SE, uno spazio dedicato alla creatività e all’innovazione nel cuore del quartiere San Lorenzo.

La serata vedrà protagonisti i vincitori del Concorso Internazionale New York CityVision che animeranno la cerimonia di premiazione.

Primo premio per il gruppo formato da Eirini Giannakopoulou e Stefano Carera (SCEG) da Vigone (TO), insieme ad Hilario Isola e Matteo Norzi (Isola and Norzi) da Kent Av Brooklyn, selezionati, tra gli oltre 600 partecipanti suddivisi in 151 gruppi provenienti da 32 diverse nazioni.

Tutti i progetti del concorso sono stati valutati da una giuria internazionale d’eccezione composta da Joshua Prince-Ramus (REX architects), Eva Franch i Gilabert (Storefront for art & architecture), Roland Snooks (Kokkugia), Shohei Shigematsu (OMA ny), Alessandro Orsini (Architensions) e Mitchell Joachim (Terreform One).

Durante l’evento verrà inoltre presentato e distribuito gratuitamente CityVision Magazine #7, free press internazionale d’architettura contemporanea e sarà possibile apprezzare l’intervento site specific di SBAGLIATO appositamente realizzato per CityVision sul tema Past Shock.

Altro momento cardine dell’evento sarà la settima edizione del PECHA KUCHA NIGHT ROMA.

I partecipanti della PKN7 saranno Crilo, Bicuadro, Eirini Giannakopoulou e Stefano Carera, Enrico Pieraccioli e Claudio Granato, Giuseppe Vultaggio, Steven Ma, Gregorio Pampinella, Disguincio & Co, Pro Active Nitro, Arturo Tedeschi.
